Sipadan and Kapalai Dive Package
This package allows for a combined stay at both resorts. Example: A 6 Day/5 Night package would allow a guest to stay at Sipadan Resort for 3 nights and Kapalai Water Village for 2 nights or vice versa. Transfers between resorts is included and diving is allowed at both regardless of which resort you choose.
- Land and sea transfers from Tawau/Semporna/Sipadan & Kapalai/and return
- Accommodations on Sipadan and/or Kapalai (Kapalai only as of January 1, 2005)
- 3 meals per day plus afternoon tea and snacks
- Daily -- 3 boat dives around the island and unlimited beach dives
- Diving to neighboring islands - Sipadan, Kapalai, and Mabul
- Night Dives for Sipadan stays only
- Equipment provided: tank, weights/belt
- Limited gear available for rental
We wish to inform you that the State Government has announced that effective the 1st of January 2005, all Sipadan operators have to move out from the island. The Government will take steps to protect and conserve the island of Sipadan. However, the Government will allow day trippers to dive around the island.
As such, effective from 1st January 2005 the Sipadan Island Dive Resort will cease operation.
However you may stay at Kapalai Resort which is only 15 mins away from Sipadan by boat. Go to Sipadan for 2 morning dives and back to Kapalai for lunch. The 3rd afternoon dive will be a choice of diving around Kapalai or Mabul.

Note: Because of the early boat transfer from Semporna to Sipadan on the First day, and the late boat transfer from Sipadan to Semporna on the last day of the package, an overnight stay at the beginning and end of each package in Kota Kinabalu is usually required.
